Product Introduction
Green plastic faced plywood is a new-generation reusable formwork panel, replacing traditional phenolic film faced plywood. It is composed of multi-cross laminated wood veneer core, covered with tough green plastic PP surface, widely used for concrete shuttering in construction projects. Compared with conventional film faced plywood, the plastic skin brings outstanding anti-stick, water-proof and wear-resistant properties.
This plywood panel is manufactured by coating both sides of the plywood core with a 0.5mm thick polypropylene (PP) plastic film, which is highly resistant to wear and corrosion. By tightly bonding the PP film with the inner plywood core, the product are significantly superior to traditional film faced plywood in use of construction formwork.
Specifications
COTEC green plastic faced plywood adopts high-quality wood core (poplar / birch / hardwood), pressed with WBP waterproof adhesive under high temperature and high pressure. The surface is covered with integrated green PP plastic sheet, which will not peel off easily. It is an ideal formwork material for customers who pursue more reuse times and lower comprehensive construction cost.

Key Characteristics & Specifications
Composition
Usually features a hardwood or poplar core bonded with waterproof glue (such as Melamine or Phenolic WBP), faced on both sides with a thin (approx. 0.5mm) plastic layer. Edges are normally sealed with waterproof paint or acrylic paint.
Standard Sizes
Commonly manufactured in 1220 x 2440 mm (4' x 8') or 1250 x 2500 mm. Thickness ranges from 12mm to 21mm for structural formwork.
Reusability
Outperforms traditional brown or black film-faced plywood, offering significantly higher reuse cycles (more than 20+ times if handled properly).
